Sr. Associate Interior Architecture Project Manager - Perm - Onsite - Houston, TX

Seeking a Senior Associate Interior Architecture Project Manager. The ideal candidate will excel in innovative design solutions and be committed to design excellence. The candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Design and management of corporate office spaces is a MUST.

Responsibilities:

  1. Guide team in establishing project concept and aesthetics
  2. Implement all phases of projects, including client meetings, field verification, drawing production, material and furniture selection, and construction administration
  3. Coordinate multiple projects concurrently
  4. Work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives
  5. Prepare client and consultant agreements for Principal review and execution
  6. Manage client expectations regarding scope, budget, and schedule
  7. Maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
  8. Plan, organize, and manage project staffing, fees, and schedule
  9. Ensure that project documentation and contracts meet standards
  10. Track and ensure project profitability
  11. Participate in business development and marketing efforts
  12. Foster and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with team members
  13. Recruit and mentor staff
  14. Assist in development of fee proposals

Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of relevant architecture or design experience
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  3. Must be a Registered Interior Designer or a Registered Architect with current license
  4. If Registered Architect, NCARB and AIA registration preferred
  5. Proficiency in Revit required
  6. Management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy
  7. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  8. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  9. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
  10. Proven ability to prioritize, while focusing on multiple projects at the same time
  11. Advanced knowledge of building materials, construction, and building codes, including ADA
