Qualifications

    Job Description :

    This request represents an opportunity to join a dedicated aerospace cable design team focused on advancing the techniques, processes, and solutions in the aim of being a premier cable design center of industry excellence.

    L3Harris seeks professionals to support critical space mission hardware design and development in both flight and support system definition. The candidate will perform cable design and documentation through engineering release, as well as support manufacturing and integration of high-reliability environment cable assemblies.

    Essential Functions:

    • Support design efforts for critical space mission hardware for both flight and support system definition
    • Perform aerospace cable harness design and documention
    • Support of cable harness design, manufacturing/build, and integration

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
    • Experience developing engineering drawings compliant to ASME Y14.100
    • Experience with PDM/PLM sytems in conjunction with configuration management release of design documentation
    • Experience taking a cable harness design through release and supporting manufacturing/build and integration
    • Familiarity with industry cable harness specification IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or NASA-8739.4

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • PTC CREO Cable or similar 3D CAD cable routing solution
    • AutoCAD

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $76,000.00 - $141,000.00 for positions in CA and $66,000.00-$123,000.00 in CO. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
