Join LA28's Brand Design team as a Sr Associate, Creative Traffic Manager. In this vital role, you'll manage design projects, ensuring effective communication and organization while collaborating with stakeholders and designers. The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.
LA28, the organizers for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, is on a mission to create an unparalleled Games experience for athletes, fans, partners, our community and our people. Our vision is to collectively create what’s next through sport, community and the power of our differences.
The 2028 Olympics and Paralympics will represent LA and leverage the strength of our community’s creativity as we collectively work to design a Games that we all want to be a part of. We do this by focusing on people and by inviting everyone into the story of the LA28 Games.
The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.
Our Brand Design team is the beating heart of LA28’s visual identity. In addition to designing the iconic deliverables that are the known and loved symbols of the Games, the team’s impact reaches across the entire organization. From corporate publications to large scale animated graphics, designers create thousands of assets that support essential business functions and ensure every expression of the brand reflects the creative vision behind the Games.
With the countdown to Summer 2028 underway, the demand for design is growing—and so is the need for thoughtful coordination. This role will act as both an ambassador for the team and a steady hand behind the scenes. Like an air traffic controller, this person will help manage shifting priorities, navigate a fast-paced environment, and keep work moving smoothly through review, approval, and delivery. A clear understanding of the creative process, team capacity, and project demands will be key to balancing timelines and identifying risks early.
This is a highly collaborative position. As the first point of contact for stakeholders seeking creative support, this person will guide partners through the intake process, help shape project briefs, and introduce them to the team's ways of working. By building strong relationships, keeping goals aligned, and ensuring everyone stays on the same page, this role supports both designers and stakeholders alike. Success in this role comes from a mix of organization, clarity, and a thoughtful, diplomatic approach.
