The Opportunity
The Sr Assistant Buyer position is development role within our Buying career path that supports the buying office with executing products through the pipeline. You will learn and master daily office functions including but not limited to item creation, purchase order creation, quality assurance processes and inventory management.
The Sr Assistant Buyer will learn the vision of the Buyer. A successful assistant buyer will learn to analyze the business results and select products based on relevant trends and existing inventory. The Sr Assistant Buyer will learn negotiation skills and develop relationships with cross-functional departments. The Sr Assistant Buyer will become versed in the importance of vendor relationships and gain exposure to the vendor negotiation process. A strong sense of urgency, an ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once and a curiosity to learn are essential to the role.
Who We Are
As a Sr. Assistant Buyer in the Color, Nail & Prestige office, you will have exposure supporting an array of categories such as Prestige Color and Skincare. This is an office where you will have the opportunity to work with National Brands and multiple categories. We are looking for another positive team member to contribute to our team's success.
This will support the color cosmetics and Lancome office.
