Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a proposals engineer to design technical and cost proposals for customers needing medium-voltage electrical equipment like switchgear and transformers. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement and project teams to design solutions and win new business.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, designing solutions using Siemens products, preparing single-line diagrams, layouts and pricing estimates, and supporting customer meetings with the sales team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical power distribution.
• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear and/or transformers.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Data center, industrial, or large commercial power experience.
• Strong communication.
