We are looking for a highly proficient Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain critical IT and OT network systems within a rapidly expanding semiconductor fabrication facility. Core Responsibilities
- Maintain enterprise, OT, and manufacturing network systems, including equipment-level connectivity and SD-WAN.
- Manage the configuration and upkeep of Cisco switches, routers, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Deploy robust network segmentation and cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing operations.
- Oversee IP addressing, VLANs, routing, switching, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and QoS to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Enhance network reliability and uptime by monitoring performance, resolving technical issues, and supporting disaster recovery.
- Foster cross-functional partnerships with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and security departments.
- Drive operational efficiency by supporting automation initiatives through DevOps practices, Infrastructure-as-Code, and PowerShell.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of professional experience in industrial and enterprise networking.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco networking technologies.
- Proven background working within factory, manufacturing, or OT settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT/OT integration, LAN/WAN, network security, switching, routing, and VPNs.
- At least two years of hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Minimum of one year of experience utilizing ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Strong capabilities in technical communication, documentation, and complex troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA certification or an equivalent professional credential.
- Experience working with Palo Alto, Arista, or Dell technologies.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, industrial protocols, MES, and SCADA.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices, DMZ architectures, Tanium, Chef, and backup/recovery systems.
