Qualifications

• Strong communication skill in both verbal and written.
• Excellent knowledge of Computer Server products and services.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues including motherboard, server systems, and computer peripherals on the phone, by E-mails, or go on-site.
• Establish and maintain close communication with sales team to discuss services and technical issues.
• Manage issues with effective escalation plan to ensure the complex issues are appropriately addressed and resolved in timely manner.
• Assist Product Managers in supporting product life cycle maintenance related activities.
• Provide needed pre- and post- sales supports to help lay the groundwork for achieving successful sales and best customer satisfaction.
• Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products.

Job Summary

Supermicro is looking for an experienced Sr. Application Engineer who has in-depth working knowledge with computer server platforms. You will play an important role in a support organization and be responsible for providing technical supports to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background, effective communication skill, and the ability to serve as the main interface to internal R&D development and validation teams to drive all issues to closure.

Salary Range

$128,000 - $142,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
