One more role, we need a strong Project Manager for a University managing application development team.

We need to identify strong local Pittsburgh PM candidates who can support a hybrid onsite model. The ideal profile should include strong project management experience in application development and/or modernization programs, stakeholder coordination, requirements management, delivery tracking, risk/dependency management, and comfort working in a complex university, healthcare, research, or enterprise environment.

POSITION GOAL

Manage key technology projects with the goal of delivering each within scope, on time, and within budget.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. *Ability to lead all relevant project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• 2. *Assist all departments involved in a project to set realistic goals and ensure technical feasibility of solutions.
• 3. *Coordinate resource availability, alignment, and allocation across all departments both technical and non-technical to ensure project success.
• 4. *Develop risk management plans and perform risk assessments.
• 5. *Develop detailed work breakdown structures, monitor, and track progress against task completion.
• 6. *Successfully build and manage relationships with project team members and external partners to the district.
• 7. *Develop communication plans and consistently communicate project status to stakeholders in an organized consistent manner. 8. *Lead change management of scope, schedule, and budget.
• 9. *Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• 10. *Assist in coordinating district-wide events and activities as designated.
• 11. *Coordinate the development of and monitoring of budgets, including expenditures related to programs and grants.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of work experience implementing, managing, and maintaining multiple simultaneous technology projects.
• Experience leading, to completion, enterprise level application or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple vendors and subcontractors.
• Having or working toward attaining Project Management Institute Certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) status.
