Job summary

Uber Freight in Frisco, TX seeks a Sr. Application Developer to design, develop and integrate enterprise software across Oracle Fusion Cloud and on‑premise systems.

You will translate business requirements into scalable features, participate in scrum ceremonies and drive quality through testing and code reviews. This senior role requires 10+ years in Oracle/ERP environments, strong PL/SQL/Java skills, and experience with OIC, OTBI and BI Publisher.

• 9 years VCS: Git, SVN.
• 7 years integrations: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

Responsibilities

• Review code in peer sessions and ensure patterns, time complexity, and risks are addressed.
• Develop and test within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules (AP, AR, GL, INV).

Job description

Position Title: Sr. Application Developer
Location: 3010 Gaylord Parkway, Suite 200, Frisco, TX 75034

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality software – readable, maintainable and efficient
• Collaborate with the stakeholders
• Active involvement in all scrum ceremonies
• Translate business requirements into the design and implementation of features and functionality required to deliver the required results
• Provide testing support to QA during functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Show excellent troubleshooting skills, mastery of dependency management, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and risk management
• Assist project leadership in creating estimations of work for client projects, participating in interviews, and determining the project software development schedule
• Active participation in code reviews and ability to critique the code based on patterns, time complexity and risks
• Perform unit and integration testing in a deployment environment to verify the delivered implementation meets the given requirements
• Design, develop, and implement integrations (OIC) between Oracle Fusion Cloud and other systems
• Analyze complex integration (OIC) issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
• Design and develop reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, or other reporting tools within the Oracle Fusion Cloud environment
• Design, develop, and analyze within the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system, including its modules (AP, AR, GL, INV)

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field
• 10 years of experience in design, development, optimization, and support of enterprise database systems including Oracle, SQL, and JDBC
• 10 years of experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud related to RICEW development, data conversions, and module customizations across Financials and SCM
• 9 years of experience in programming languages including PL/SQL, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML
• 9 years of experience in tools including SQL Developer, TOAD, Soap UI, Postman, JDeveloper, Jira, and ServiceNow
• 9 years of experience in code version control tools including GIT and SVN
• 7 years of experience in developing and managing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OIC)
• 7 years of experience in Oracle Reporting and Analytics using BI Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
• 7 years of experience in general module functionality for GL, AP, AR, and INV modules
• 3 years of experience in provisioning and administration of cloud‑native Oracle resources in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• 3 years of experience in managing user provisioning, single sign‑on, and role‑based access controls using Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS)
• 3 years of experience in Oracle UI development using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud (VBCS) and Oracle Application Express (APEX)
• Experience may be gained concurrently
• Hybrid position, requiring three days in‑person at the employer's Frisco, TX office. Must reside within commuting distance of the Frisco, TX office
