Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Application Builder, Mobile Applications to join the Blink mobile development team. You will develop and deliver mobile app features, collaborate with product and UX teams, and focus on performance and maintainability.
As part of a cross-functional agile team, you will work with Kotlin/Android and Swift/iOS, contribute to a high-scale mobile platform used by millions, and help raise the development bar through code quality and modern practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

As an Application Builder at Blink, you will:
- Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices.
- Develop features which are used by millions of customers each day.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways.
- Regularly work with backend developers to help support app integrations with backend services.
- Write well tested code using modern architectural principles.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
