Job description

If you’re passionate about being part of a dynamic organization that enables a Fortune 100 company with nearly $70 billion in annual sales to drive innovation and adopt new technologies that deliver business results, then Nationwide’s Technology team could be the place for you! At Nationwide®, “on your side” goes beyond just words. Our customers are at the center of everything we do and we’re looking for associates who are passionate about delivering extraordinary care.

This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus, Ohio, Des Moines, Iowa, or Scottsdale, Arizona office 2 days per week.

The Cloud Success Team serves as a team of educators and enablement partners. Our role is to ensure that Nationwide’s cloud products operate as intended while equipping BSA development teams with the tools, knowledge, and autonomy to accomplish their work independently. We play a central role in making the vision of a fully self-service cloud environment a reality.

The team’s work is primarily focused on responding to customer needs and resolving issues as they arise. In addition, several security and infrastructure initiatives planned for the coming year will require our support. A significant area of focus will be helping teams transition from legacy models to a CDK-centric approach within accounts scoped tightly to applications. We also anticipate additional project opportunities related to governance initiatives involving IAM roles and KMS keys.

As educators, we place a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional development. Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn are just as important as existing expertise in this role. Associates are expected to pursue relevant certifications and continually expand their technical knowledge. Because we are internally customer-facing, successful candidates must be able to communicate ideas clearly, teach technical concepts effectively, and genuinely enjoy helping others succeed.
