Job summary

SC Johnson GmbH is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supply Planning to oversee a regional portfolio of suppliers and components, ensuring balanced material supply for internal production while aligning plans with business priorities. You will focus on efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement across MPS, DRP and MRP processes.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a supply chain field with 2+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in CPG, and proficiency with SAP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of supply chain experience, including internships
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
  • APICS certification or equivalent is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage efficient MPS, DRP, and MRP processes for assigned technologies within the respective region
  • Drive results through adherence to core supply planning processes and policies
  • Optimize inventory and case-fill performance across the end-to-end supply chain
  • Drive decisions and trade-offs to optimize the supply plan and communicate those decisions to stakeholders
  • Develop constrained and feasible MPS, DRP, and MRP plans over the aligned time horizon using SAP and established best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to optimize trade-offs across production, inventory, and capacity
  • Proactively identify constraints, changing requirements, and supplier performance issues and develop appropriate mitigation plans
  • Ensure master data ownership, accuracy, and compliance
  • Escalate supply and inventory risks through the S&OE process to the Supply Interface Manager and identify options to drive resolution
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate key process metrics
  • Provide monthly inputs and capacity planning in support of the S&OP process
  • Conduct monthly root cause analysis of KPIs for the assigned category or cluster and identify and drive corrective actions

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Analyst, Supply Planning, you will manage an established portfolio of suppliers and components that support multiple regions and customers. You will be accountable for ensuring a balanced supply of materials to support internal production while partnering cross-functionally to align supply plans with business priorities. In this role, you will focus on efficiency, strong cross-functional collaboration, continuous learning, and process improvement. These capabilities will be key to your success and continued growth within the role and the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage efficient MPS, DRP, and MRP processes for assigned technologies within the respective region

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of supply chain experience, including internships, or an advanced degree and at least one year of supply chain experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
  • Experience in the CPG industry
  • Experience with SAP planning-related modules
  • Experience with Kinaxis and MRP
  • APICS certification, e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CLTD
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and/or Access
  • Demonstrated results working in a team-based, cross-functional environment
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, including root cause analysis and Lean principles
  • Ability to contribute effectively to a high-performing team in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis, including business process metrics and measures linked to business KPIs
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Full-time, first-shift position
  • Remote work is available one day per week following the 90-day onboarding period
  • This role is not eligible for relocation

The expected base salary range for this position is between 77,040.00 USD - 101,115.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
