Position Title
Senior Analyst – Scheduling Analytics
Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines and manage ETL processes to produce clean datasets for analysis.
- Automate business processes and develop tools and dashboards to provide insight into scheduling and operational design.
- Create documentation, code standards, libraries, and workflows to industrialize analytics solutions.
- Use big data and cloud capabilities to identify signals, build predictive models and present findings to stakeholders.
- Deliver actionable analytics solutions with other business units to improve scheduling processes and operational outcomes.
- Collaborate across organizational teams and foster continuous improvement of processes, tools, and infrastructure.
- Lead change initiatives and champion cross‑functional opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and share programming and analytics expertise.
- Conduct ad‑hoc projects, reports, and analysis as directed by management.
- Interact with commercial, operations, and technology teams to maximize revenue and operational efficiency.
- Understand and execute airline scheduling functions and manage network optimization tools such as Navitaire Skyschedule, Sabre Schedule Manager, and Sabre Slot Manager.
- Maintain and report on airline block times and standards.
- Stay current on industry trends and drive thought leadership within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related program (preferred).
- Professional experience using SQL, Python, R or other coding languages.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Professional experience in statistical analysis.
- 1‑3 years of experience in data analytics, programming, or a quantitative role.
- Experience in airline network analytics, process automation, or a similar role (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced programming skills, with priority given to SQL, R, or Python.
- Proven ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop applications.
- Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake (preferred).
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Interest in machine learning (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail in reporting and analysis.
- Comfortable working independently under time pressure to solve analytical challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with partners and staff across departments.

$72,000 – $96,331
