Job summary

XPO is seeking a Senior Analyst, Contract Pricing to join our pricing team in Michigan. You will manage revenue and profitability for a portfolio of large accounts, perform detailed cost/revenue analyses, and translate findings into actionable strategies for sales negotiations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience, 3 years in quantitative analysis, and strong Excel/SQL skills.

• Interpret analysis output for sales presentations and assist negotiations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Analyst, Contract Pricing at XPO

• Able to demonstrate leadership to drive results. Self-driven and takes ownership over workload with minimal support from management
• Able to interpret analysis output for sales presentations to buyers and assist the Sales team with negotiation preparation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics or Mathematics
• 3 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis in the transportation field
• Experience with SQL and statistical packages

• Manage the revenue and profitability for a portfolio of large accounts
• Perform detailed cost/revenue analysis based on input from several departments, including Sales, Pricing, Linehaul, Operations, etc.
• Interpret analysis output for sales presentations to buyers and assist the Sales team with negotiation preparation
• Collaborate with Pricing team leadership to establish and implement a pricing strategy and tactical plan
• Craft contractual pricing agreements and ensure timely negotiation and correct implementation of rates
