Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to complex development projects in a collaborative environment. You will write, test, and debug code, participate in design reviews, and serve as a technical resource for the team.

The role emphasizes ownership of challenging technical problems, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to defining software requirements and best practices. A strong foundation in programming and team communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good team collaboration and communication abilities.
• Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training a plus.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $80,700 - $149,900.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
