Job summary

DXC Technology in the United States is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Architect to lead the enterprise architecture for PeopleSoft HCM, shape modernization roadmaps, and drive cloud transformations across OCI and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with HR, payroll, and business leadership to deliver HR technology transformations.

The role requires a track record of enterprise modernization, strong governance, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
  • 5+ years of architecture leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of enterprise modernization or cloud transformation experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale HR transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting complex HR and payroll environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead architect for PeopleSoft HCM solutions, including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and more.
  • Define and maintain enterprise HCM architecture standards and best practices.
  • Provide governance and oversight for PeopleSoft design, integrations, security, and data management.
  • Lead modernization assessments and develop roadmaps aligned with objectives.
  • Design cloud migration strategies for OCI and hybrid architectures.
  • Define API-first integration strategies using REST/SOAP and OIC.
  • Develop data modernization and analytics strategies leveraging Oracle Analytics and Power BI.
  • Partner with HR, payroll, finance, and leadership to align modernization objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and establish governance processes.

Key Responsibilities


PeopleSoft HCM Architecture Leadership


  • Serve as the lead architect for PeopleSoft HCM solutions, including:

    • Core HR

  • Define and maintain enterprise HCM architecture standards and best practices.

Modernization Strategy & Transformation


  • Lead assessments of existing PeopleSoft HCM environments to identify technical debt, customization complexity, integration challenges, and modernization opportunities.

  • Develop modernization roadmaps aligned with business objectives and organizational transformation initiatives.

  • Define future‑state architectures that leverage cloud‑native services, automation, analytics, and AI‑enabled capabilities.

  • Evaluate modernization options including:

    • PeopleSoft upgrades

    • Re‑platforming

    • Oracle Cloud HCM migration

    • Hybrid application architectures

    • SaaS transformation strategies





Cloud Architecture & Migration


  • Design cloud migration strategies for PeopleSoft workloads.

  • Lead migration planning and execution for:

    • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)



  • Develop high‑availability, disaster recovery, security, and scalability architectures.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and regulatory requirements.



Integration Architecture


  • Design enterprise integration solutions connecting HCM systems with:

    • ERP platforms

    • Identity Management solutions

    • Benefits providers

    • Payroll vendors

    • Financial systems

    • Reporting and analytics platforms



  • Define API‑first integration strategies using:

    • REST APIs

    • Web Services

    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

    • Middleware platforms





Data & Analytics Strategy


  • Develop HCM data modernization approaches and governance frameworks.

  • Lead data conversion, cleansing, and migration activities.

  • Design reporting and analytics strategies leveraging:

    • PeopleSoft Query

    • Oracle Analytics

    • Power BI

    • Enterprise Data Warehouses

    • Cloud analytics platforms





Stakeholder Engagement


  • Partner with HR, payroll, finance, and business leadership teams to understand modernization objectives.

  • Present architectural recommendations and transformation roadmaps to executive leadership.

  • Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for HR technology strategy.



Program & Technical Leadership


  • Lead cross‑functional teams including developers, administrators, business analysts, cloud engineers, and system integrators.

  • Establish modernization governance processes and architecture review boards.

  • Mentor technical staff and promote architecture best practices.



Required Qualifications


Education


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

  • Master's degree preferred.



Experience


  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM.

  • 5+ years of architecture leadership experience.

  • 5+ years of enterprise modernization or cloud transformation experience.

  • Experience leading large‑scale HCM transformation initiatives.

  • Experience supporting complex HR and payroll environments.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $115,100 - $213,700.



Full‑time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
