Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Transactions / M&A, you will be a key member of the Corporate Development (M&A) team, supporting all development and growth efforts. The role involves working on high-volume transaction executions such as acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and more. You will collaborate closely with various departments including Operations, Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, Finance, and Accounting. The position offers primarily remote work with the option to work from our North Bethesda, MD office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build complex Excel valuation models for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
2. Evaluate deals using discounted cash flow analyses and metrics like IRR and EBITDA multiples.
3. Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for joint ventures.
4. Manage due diligence processes, including site visits, data collection, and review coordination.
5. Prepare presentations and proposals for stakeholders and management.
6. Collaborate with legal teams on negotiations and drafting agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field from a top undergraduate program.
• 2-4 years of transaction-oriented analytical experience, with backgrounds in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development preferred.
• Significant direct transaction experience.
• Strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
