T-Mobile is seeking a Broadband Sr Operational Insights Analyst to support the Operations organization with data-driven improvements. You will extract and model data from Snowflake/Databricks, build dashboards, and present actionable insights to executives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and external partners, and requires strong communication and analytical skills. This is a hybrid role with in-office requirements at least 3 days per week.

The Broadband Sr Operational Insights Analyst is responsible for supporting the Operations organization's continuous improvement initiatives utilizing a broad range of data sources, analytical methods, and business approaches to deliver actionable recommendations to executive sponsors. A Senior Analyst Operations Insights is a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance and adjacent areas. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. Provides analytical support (including analytical systems development) by dissecting and structuring a wide range of complex business problems, extracting and analyzing data from a variety of sources, utilizing facts/data to derive a conclusion, and constructing presentations that distill complex analytical findings into communications that are intended to inform and influence decisions related to policy, procedure, and business practices. Develop relationships with partners, reviewing contractual agreements, defining the metrics needed and building dashboards to support. Additionally, owning settlements process for partners in partnership with finance. Identify operational opportunities to improve customer experience and reduce cost to serve, initiating and leading cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and creating models and processes to measure and communicate improvement.

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Query data from relational databases (Snowflake, Databricks). Demonstrate strong competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data.
• Perform data validation and data cleansing
• Perform data mining, analysis and modeling to drive business insights
• Develop presentations to show complex and customized analytical findings
• Provide ongoing operational support & execute reporting on metrics based on contractual agreements
• Own settlement process with partners in conjunction with finance
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• SQL – demonstrated experience writing complex queries to extract, manipulate, validate, and analyze large datasets to support business decisions and operational insights
• Database – direct experience working with relational databases and cloud data platforms, including Snowflake and Databricks, with a strong understanding of database structures, data relationships, and querying techniques
• Data Analysis – integrate and analyze information from multiple databases and disparate data sources, identifying trends, anomalies, relationships, and opportunities for operational improvement
• Data Validation – perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting, dashboards, financial settlements, and business analyses
• Communication – ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations; skilled in developing executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and data-driven narratives that clearly communicate key findings, business impacts, risks, and recommended actions
• Collaboration – strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience gathering requirements, defining metrics, aligning on business objectives, and influencing decisions through data and insights; communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, external partners, and executive leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience, or advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience, or combination of education and experience deemed equivalent. Acceptable areas of study include Quantitative Business, Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years related analyst work experience.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $86,480 - $156,055 National Base Pay Range: $75,200 - $135,700

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity.
