Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr. ALM DevSecOps IT Manager (Finance) to lead modernization of DevSecOps capabilities across Aero, with a focus on the EC instance.

You will combine deep technical leadership with strategic transformation. You will collaborate with engineering, IT, cybersecurity and business teams to implement governance, platforms, and AI-enabled tooling, while driving a proactive, scalable engineering ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, ALM, or platform operations leadership.
• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud engineering, and modern development tooling.
• 3+ years' experience leading technical teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• 3+ years' experience with AI-driven tooling, GitHub, or similar modern development ecosystems

Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of DevSecOps practices and tooling, addressing gaps relative to industry standards.
• Drive strategic AOP commitments and upcoming initiatives within the DevSecOps and tooling space.
• Oversee evaluation and potential adoption of modern engineering platforms, including AI-enabled tools and GitHub.
• Transition the organization from a reactive, support-only model to a proactive, innovation-driven approach.
• Develop and execute a forward-looking roadmap to reduce backlog, improve operational efficiency, and scale capabilities.
• Provide end-to-end ownership of all non-IBM Software Engineering tools, ensuring governance, consistency, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Partner with engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure cohesive DevSecOps adoption and tool usage.
• Support enterprise AI and digital transformation goals through modernized workflows and platform readiness.
• Establish standards, best practices, and operational processes to improve quality, security, and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

Must Have

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, ALM, or platform operations leadership.
• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud engineering, and modern development tooling.
• 3+ years' experience leading technical teams and driving cross‑functional initiatives.
• 3+ years' experience with AI‑driven tooling, GitHub, or similar modern development ecosystems
