As a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the entire maintenance division, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You will provide leadership and direction to maintenance managers and teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage significant budgets and resources. This role demands a high level of strategic planning, leadership, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced aviation maintenance leader who blends deep technical expertise with strategic, operational, and customer-facing capabilities. Beyond ensuring aircraft airworthiness, this individual integrates maintenance activities with engineering, mission systems, operations, logistics, business strategy, and long-term fleet sustainment. They operate effectively across multiple disciplines, balancing regulatory compliance, aircraft availability, customer priorities, and overarching program objectives—particularly in environments involving airline/charter (Part 135), ISR, and special mission aircraft. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation. It is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on-time and on (or under) budget deliveries.
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
