The Sr AI Engineer position at Volkswagen Group’s Innovation & Engineering Center California (IECC) applies machine learning and deep learning to challenges across the automotive industry. Role Overview

This role is tasked with applying machine learning and deep learning to automotive use cases, which may include autonomous driving, manufacturing, and material design. Work performed on-site at the facility requires a high level of independence and the ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity. In addition to assigned projects, the individual and subsequent team are expected to identify and develop the next major innovation, including building it and enabling its adoption.

The position should be held by a Computer Science Engineer (or equivalent) with experience in software development and software architecture.
