The Senior Sr Advisory Services Consultant will leverage detailed healthcare claims data to develop and maintain analytical models that support financial analysis and strategic decision-making. This role involves diagnosing root causes of issues, proposing data-driven solutions, and applying advanced technical skills to extract meaningful insights aligned with broader consulting objectives. The consultant will produce accurate, visually compelling, and client-ready deliverables, construct logical storylines, and confidently address client inquiries within their area of expertise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performing quantitative analysis of healthcare utilization and cost data, preparing client reports, managing project timelines, and coordinating tasks
• Developing and analyzing complex datasets for reporting, clearly communicating analytical implications to stakeholders, and collaborating effectively across teams
• As a trusted subject matter expert, the consultant will support ad-hoc analytics, foster strategic client relationships, and take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• This position is part of a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and innovation, offering clear direction, recognition, and opportunities to apply traditional expertise to cutting-edge actuarial and analytical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working in either R, SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, VBA, predictive modeling, .net
• Experience and/or exposure in dealing with health care claims experience and/or Pharmacy claims experience (i.e. understanding of costs, expected claims, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, pharmacy terminology)
• Experience working in a consultancy or healthcare field
• Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to handle changing priorities/requirements/deadlines
• Reside in Eden Prairie, MN
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of analytical experience
• Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel
• Ability to communicate complex information
  
  

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
