Are you ready to help us make the future?
Honeywell's Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS) is an advanced safety solution designed to enhance landing performance and operational safety during aircraft landings. It provides critical real-time alerts to flight crews regarding runway overruns—situations where an aircraft fails to stop before the runway ends.
The system uses sophisticated algorithms and data from multiple aircraft systems, including landing gear performance and runway conditions, to evaluate landing dynamics. By analyzing real-time factors such as aircraft speed, runway length, and environmental conditions, ROAAS delivers timely warnings and advisories to pilots to prevent overruns.
As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within the Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CN&S) Center of Excellence, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing advanced avionics systems and solutions. Your work will significantly impact the development and deployment of our ROAAS products.
In the high-stakes field of aviation, attention to detail is crucial. Your expertise will contribute to creating systems that safeguard lives and optimize operations. As part of a dedicated team, you will develop innovative engineering solutions that redefine aircraft safety. This role allows you to actively shape the future of aviation safety.
