Job summary

Sr Advanced Project Engineer (Finance)

As a Sr Advanced Project Engr here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met.

You will report directly to our leadership team and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the advancement of aerospace technologies by overseeing project execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying your expertise to solve challenging engineering problems that enhance product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage advanced aerospace engineering projects from concept through completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Drive technical innovation and problem-solving to meet challenging aerospace engineering goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace project engineering or related systems engineering roles.
  • 1 year of experience working inertial reference system development programs.

  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to innovate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and emerging technologies.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with the Commercial Navigation portfolio of IRU / AHRS / ADIRU products.
