Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, seeks a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to lead a diverse engineering team in executing high‑quality navigation solutions for defense and civil markets. You will report to the Sr. Engineer Manager and work onsite initially, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after 90 days.
The role focuses on systems such as inertial navigation units and aided inertial navigation, with travel within the US and internationally as needed (approx. 15%).
As a Sr Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead a team of engineers, ensuring successful project execution and high-quality solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet engineering support requirements.
You will report directly to our Sr. Engineer Manager, and you’ll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. New hire external employees will work onsite, in the office for the first 90 days and will then transition to a hybrid (3/2) schedule.
As a Sr Advanced Project Engineer in the Sensing Guidance and Navigation (SGN) Center of Excellence (COE), you will work in partnership to develop products that support aircraft navigation systems for defense, air transport, regional, business aviation, and general aviation. These market areas require a wide variety of navigation systems including inertial measurement units, inertial navigation systems, and aided inertial navigation systems.
Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required - 15%
