Resolution Life Group Services Limited is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate in West Chester, PA, to maintain and run models for Principle-Based Reserves, quality control, and reporting. You will project cash flows and analyze drivers to support statutory and GAAP objectives, while liaising with Finance, Risk, and Reinsurance teams.

You will work with Prophet, SQL, and data tools to address ad-hoc requests, and help improve model efficiency and reporting quality in a hybrid work setting.

Please be sure to check email regularly for information regarding our employment process.Position Title: Sr Actuarial AssociateLocation: West Chester, PAPosition Summary:The Senior Actuarial Associate will join the Liability Production Team and support the valuation, financial reporting, and projection of cashflows related to interest sensitive life insurance products. This role is responsible for maintaining and running actuarial models, analyzing results, and providing insights that support statutory, tax, GAAP, and business planning objectives.The successful candidate will work closely with experienced actuarial professionals and business leaders while developing expertise in a broad range of interest-sensitive life insurance products. This role offers exposure to a modern actuarial modeling platform, Principle-Based Reserves, life insurance valuation, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities:· Maintain and run actuarial models supporting Principle-Based Reserves (VM-20) and contribute to annual VM-31 reporting requirements.· Use actuarial modeling software to project cash flows for the purpose of valuing and managing the inforce block· Analyze model output, identify key drivers of results, and clearly communicate findings to business partners and management.· Maintain procedural controls and communicate their execution and effectiveness with internal and external auditors· Respond to state insurance department examination requests· Provide projected cash flows in support of reinsurance deal analysis and risk metrics such as duration and liquidity· Present results, assumptions, and emerging trends to management, Finance, and other key stakeholders.· Partner with Finance, Risk, Reinsurance, and other functional areas to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.· Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance model efficiency, controls, and reporting quality.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:· Strong analytical skills and knowledge of life insurance products, particularly interest-sensitive products such as Universal Life with Secondary Guarantees (ULSG), Variable Universal Life (VUL), and Indexed Universal Life (IUL).· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on several projects concurrently· Ability to use this knowledge to lead/develop solutions to ad-hoc requests or issues· Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or related business discipline· Progress toward actuarial credentials with 3-5 actuarial exams passed or newly credentialed ASA· 5-7 years of actuarial, insurance, or financial services experience, preferably in life insurance valuation or modeling.· Strong technical skills, including Excel and data querying/reporting tools (e.g., AWS Athena, Amazon QuickSight, SQL, or similar platforms).· Experience with Prophet Actuarial Software· Ability to challenge current methodologies/approaches and develop more efficient and effective solutionsCritical SkillsAt Resolution Life, we have identified the following critical skills which are key to success in our culture:· Customer Focused: Passionate drive to satisfy our customers and offer unique solutions that deliver on their expectations.· Critical Thinking: Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem-solving data to reach a well-reasoned solution.· Team Mentality: Partnering effectively to drive our culture and execute on our common goals.· Business Acumen: Appreciation and understanding of the financial services industry in order to make sound business decisions.· Learning Agility: Openness to new ways of thinking and acquiring new skills to retain a competitive advantage.Location: West Chester, PA (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office),Resolution Life US is committed to disclosing a reasonable estimate of the base salary for our job roles.
