Job Summary

The role is responsible for establishing premium rates and conducting financial analysis and reporting. A key responsibility is supporting the Molina Marketplace ACA individual pricing process by developing rates, creating regulatory filing documents, and addressing regulatory objections. The candidate may lead multiple projects of varying scale and complexity with limited supervision.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Analyzes data, assists in designing studies, authors effective communication, and generates recommendations with supporting documentation.
• Monitors medical cost trends and identifies early signs of potential issues by analyzing emerging experience.
• Implements high-level tactics and strategies with limited guidance.
• Possesses subject matter expertise in at least one actuarial function (pricing, reserving, risk adjustment, analytics, modeling, etc.).
• Leads analytical projects from start to finish with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with other statistical, query, or programming languages.
