Bell & Associates is seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager for a remote role with occasional travel. You will own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting across the organization.

You will consolidate multiple entities, assist with acquisition integration, and drive improvements to the general ledger and related systems. Collaboration with leadership is essential to enhance financial visibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and GAAP financial reporting.
• Manage multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting with consistent records across businesses.
• Integrate acquisitions into common accounting processes, including opening balances and chart-of-accounts alignment.
• Define requirements and implement improvements to the general ledger and accounting systems (Ramp/Rippling or equivalents).
• Partner with leadership to provide reliable financial data and explain results.

Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client recruit their next Sr. Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for a hands‑on finance and accounting lead to own clean books, a reliable close, and accurate financial reporting across Newman’s growing group of businesses. The opportunity is to build a strong accounting foundation for a growing, private‑equity‑backed professional‑services business, working closely with leadership to improve financial visibility, integrate acquisitions, and put scalable processes and systems in place.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and timely GAAP financial reporting.
• Manage multi‑entity consolidation and intercompany accounting, maintaining clear, consistent records across businesses and systems.
• Integrate acquired businesses into common accounting processes, including opening balances, receivables cutover, chart‑of‑accounts alignment, and cash‑to‑accrual conversion. Work with the company’s ASC 606 advisor on revenue recognition and related policies.
• Help define requirements and implement improvements to the general ledger and broader accounting systems, including Ramp and Rippling or close equivalents. Connect operational data to the ledger and strengthen controls, documentation, and reporting.
• Partner with the leadership team, Strategic Finance, and Business Operations by providing reliable financial data and explaining results.
