Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant – Revenue & Receivables for nonprofit accounting, with deep expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 958. This role requires hands-on ownership of revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and receivables, partnering with leadership on new revenue streams and ensuring GAAP compliance.

You will support audits, Form 990 reporting, and internal controls; drive process improvements and automation in Sage Intacct and related systems, and act as the subject matter expert for

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience with ownership of revenue and receivables.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 958 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience with grant, contribution, and earned revenue accounting.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and month-end close processes.
• Expertise in accounts receivable, deferred revenue, reconciliations, and GAAP.
• Experience supporting audits, Form 990 reporting, and internal controls.
• Nonprofit accounting experience required.
