Subway is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Department. You will work with senior staff and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities include closing procedures, GL maintenance, accounts payable/receivable processing, and supporting audits. A CPA path and ERP experience are welcomed as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in corporate and/or public accounting environments.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including recording, reviewing, and reconciling transactions.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
• Reconcile assigned monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and account verification.
• Perform variance analyses and investigate discrepancies.
• Support audit activities, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Maintain accounting records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues.

Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $79,500-$99,500 annually

Pay within this range will be determined in good faith based on job‑related

factors, which may include skills, experience, education/training, location,

and internal equity.
