Job summary

GoTo Foods, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide accurate GAAP-based accounting support across the company. The role focuses on maintaining internal controls and safeguarding assets while delivering timely financial information.

Candidates should have 4-7 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft AX, PeopleSoft, Great Plains, Oracle, or Intacct. CPA or CPA-track is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Microsoft AX, PeopleSoft, Great Plains, Oracle, Intacct).
• Detail-oriented, quick learner and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• US GAAP experience with emphasis in lease accounting, goodwill and indefinite-lived intangible assets, revenue recognition, preferably for franchisors, and fixed assets.
• Experience in quick service, franchise operations, and/or hospitality industry
• Experience in systems implementation and process improvements
• CPA or CPA-track

About the position The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting support in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to various GoTo Foods constituents. The individual will maintain adequate internal controls and protect company assets while demonstrating the core competencies below.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related degree
• 4-7 years Accounting Work Experience
• Experience with widely-used ERP / accounting systems (Microsoft AX, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Oracle, Intacct, etc.)
• Extremely detail-oriented, quick learner and ability to work independently
• Proficiency with MS Office (advanced skills in Excel and Word) Nice-to-haves
• US GAAP experience with emphasis in lease accounting, evaluation of goodwill and other indefinite-lived intangible assets, revenue recognition, preferably for franchisors, and fixed assets
• Quick service, franchise operations, and/or hospitality industry experience
