Nachi America Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, global manufacturing team. You will lead close processes, prepare financial statements, and strengthen internal controls while providing insightful analysis to guide strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS.
• ERP experience with Epicor CMS and/or Sage.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Leading month-end and year-end close activities.
• Preparing financial statements, management reports, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Supporting inventory accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Analyzing financial results, researching variances, and providing insights to leadership.
• Managing sales and use tax filings, tax return support, and compliance reporting.
• Supporting internal and external audits and preparing required documentation.
• Supervising Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Collection functions.
• Establishing and maintaining customer accounts and supporting order hold release requests.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency.
• Partnering with teams throughout the organization to support business goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

What We're Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and explain financial information clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
• ERP experience, including Epicor CMS and/or Sage, preferred
• Power BI, Power Query, or other reporting and analytical tools are a plus
• Manufacturing accounting experience highly preferred
