Capital University is seeking a Senior Accountant to support general ledger functions within the Finance Office. The role will monitor and improve workflows, assist in year-end audit prep, reconcile accounts, and generate periodic management reports.
The Senior Accountant will also perform account analysis, provide software support for the office, and respond to campus inquiries with accuracy and timeliness. A bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of related experience are expected.
The Senior Accountant, integral to the general ledger functions of the Finance Office, monitors and improves office workflows, assists in the preparation of year-end audit papers, reconciles various general ledger accounts, generates and distributes periodic reports for management, performs account/transaction analysis and research, and provides software support for the office.
