Motion Industries is seeking a Senior Account Representative to manage and expand relationships with large customers in the Louisiana region. The role emphasizes up-selling and cross-selling to increase revenue while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will network, generate leads, and present tailored quotes, often working face-to-face with clients. Travel is required as part of the role, with a focus on building long-term partnerships through proactive service and on-site

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination with 7+ years experience.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related items.
• Proven ability to generate leads, up-sell and cross-sell to existing customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence customers.

Senior Account RepresentativeSUMMARY:The Senior Account Representative focuses on large customers and is responsible for expanding relationships with existing customers by up-selling and cross-selling. This role fosters customer satisfaction by maintaining customer contact and managing customer expectations.JOB DUTIESIncreases revenue and profitability through generation of new business and further development of existing accounts.Generates new leads by networking, cold calling, researching various directories and internet sites.Routinely interacts face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintains satisfaction.Understands complex requirements from customers for preparation of customized quoting.Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical requirements are met.Assists with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns.Works with and coordinates vendor resources to build relationships and support sales.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCETypically requires a bachelor's degree and seven (7) or more years of experience or an equivalent combination.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESKnowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices.Ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships.Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.Ability to multitask and manage time well.Ability to use Microsoft Office.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel required. May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on need.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license required.
