Job description

Alkami is the digital sales and service platform provider for U.S. banks and credit unions. Our unified Platform integrates onboarding, digital banking, and data and marketing—each solution can stand alone, but together they deliver more—to help institutions onboard, engage, and grow relationships. As the future shifts toward Anticipatory Banking, we help data-informed bankers meet the moment with technology that drives action. Founded in 2009, we continue to be recognized for our intentional culture and tremendous growth (Best Place to Work in Fintech; Best & Brightest to Work For Nationally; and Comparably’s Best Company Culture, Best Career Growth, Best Engineering Team, and Best Places to Work in Dallas, among others). We’re building a culture where each Alkamist can perform to their highest potential, and we’re always on the lookout for the best and brightest minds. If you’re ready to experience the power of alchemy - transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary - come join one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in the U.S. As a remote-first company, most of our positions can be remote in the US, except for key roles, which will be indicated in the Job Title. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Own a portfolio of client accounts by developing account strategies, prioritizing opportunities and risks, and driving coordinated execution against client and business objectives.
  • Drive renewal and expansion outcomes by assessing account health, identifying whitespace opportunities, developing commercial strategies, and leading client conversations throughout renewal and contracting cycles.
  • Strengthen relationships with client stakeholders by establishing proactive engagement cadences, understanding business priorities, and adapting recommendations and communication to varied audiences.
  • Lead business reviews by analyzing customer performance and product usage data, developing relevant insights and recommendations, and facilitating discussions that connect platform capabilities to client goals.
  • Identify and mitigate retention risks by evaluating account signals, diagnosing underlying issues, and developing coordinated action plans with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Advance product adoption by assessing client utilization, recommending relevant capabilities and practices, and guiding stakeholders toward solutions that support their digital banking and deposit origination strategies.
  • Resolve complex client issues by evaluating available information, determining appropriate courses of action, and coordinating cross-functional resources through resolution.
  • Influence account growth by translating client objectives, performance data, and product knowledge into recommendations that create measurable value and uncover additional opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional account execution by partnering with product, sales, reporting, legal, finance, implementation, support, and engineering teams to address client priorities and deliver commitments.
  • Represent client needs internally by synthesizing feedback, enhancement requests, and recurring pain points and providing actionable context to product and other relevant teams.
  • Guide escalations by assessing business impact, prioritizing issues, communicating effectively with client stakeholders, and coordinating technical or operational teams until resolution.
  • Support platform implementations and client launches by advising on account-specific requirements, identifying risks and dependencies, and facilitating effective transitions into ongoing account management.
  • Develop client enablement approaches by identifying knowledge or adoption gaps, delivering targeted training, and recommending improvements to FAQs, help resources, and other educational materials.
  • Maintain reliable account forecasts by evaluating renewal likelihood, expansion opportunities, client risks, and relevant account activity and documenting assumptions in designated systems.
  • Advise internal colleagues on client context by sharing account insights, effective practices, and recommendations that improve coordination and strengthen the overall customer experience.
Recommended Experience & Education
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3–6 years of experience in account management, client success, customer relationship management, or a related client-facing discipline, including experience independently managing renewals, account growth, and complex client relationships in banking, fintech, SaaS, or a comparable environment.
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications Required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of account management and client success practices, including account planning, renewals, retention, expansion, and product adoption.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret account, customer, and product usage data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging and advise stakeholders on difficult or complex matters.
  • Demonstrated judgment and problem-solving skills in independently resolving diverse client issues and adapting established approaches when necessary.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across product, sales, support, implementation, engineering, legal, finance, and reporting teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM, ticketing, reporting, and productivity tools used to manage account performance, forecasts, and client activity.
