Responsibilities

  • Own and grow high-value national and multinational strategic accounts.
  • Develop long-term customer strategies, roadmaps, and multi-year plans.
  • Lead complex negotiations including multi-year contracts and pricing strategy.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across R&D, procurement, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of customer projects.
  • Identify and champion major new business initiatives with significant revenue impact.
  • Provide strategic insights, financial forecasting, and risk analysis to commercial leadership.
  • Represent Synergy at key industry conferences and strategic meetings.
  • Mentor and resource to the Account Manager and ADS teams.

The Senior Account Manager (Sr. AM) is a senior-level commercial leader responsible for managing Synergy's largest and most strategic accounts. This role drives long-term revenue growth, leads complex multi-stakeholder negotiations, and builds executive-level relationships across customer organizations. The Sr. AM sets strategic direction for key accounts, influences internal planning, and ensures successful commercialization of high-value customer initiatives.

This is a remote position for our Western Territory (California, Utah, Arizona, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington).

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow high-value national and multinational strategic accounts.
  • Develop long-term customer strategies, account roadmaps, and multi-year business plans.
  • Lead complex negotiations including multi-year contracts, pricing strategy, and strategic agreements.
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships across R&D, procurement, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of customer projects.
  • Identify and champion major new business initiatives with significant revenue impact.
  • Provide strategic insights, financial forecasting, and risk analysis to commercial leadership.
  • Represent Synergy at key industry conferences, customer summits, and strategic meetings.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to the Account Manager and ADS teams.
Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years of flavor, ingredient, or complex B2B CPG sales experience.
  • Proven success managing multimillion-dollar portfolios and delivering sustained growth.
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior customer stakeholders.
  • Mastery of negotiation, strategic selling, and long-term account planning.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and global environments Exceptional communication, presentation, and strategic thinking abilities.

Salary Range: $153,000 to $207.,000 The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.

This role will remain open until filled.
