Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Senior Account Manager to serve as a primary contact for select client accounts, developing coverage strategies and collaborating with teams to issue policies and endorsements. The role emphasizes clarity in communication and proactive service across renewals and inquiries.

The position requires a Property & Casualty license, strong organizational and analytical skills, and experience with agency management systems such as Applied Systems / EPIC.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial lines and/or industry.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with clients and teams.
• Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance principles and underwriting basics.

Responsibilities

• Service accounts, including quotes, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries and company requests promptly.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans as needed.
• Insurance marketing and sales.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts and support claims process.
• Maintain client data accurately in Applied Systems / EPIC.
• Document all activities in the agency management system.
• Keep Producers informed of important activities and issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and license compliance.
• Assist other departments to issue appropriate policies.

Job Summary:

Senior Account Managers perform advanced responsibilities and are primary points of contact for clients they oversee. Senior Account Managers are individual contributors and develop coverage strategies and plans with occasional guidance or direct supervision. Senior account managers will apply the core principles of insurance to everyday situations and demonstrate the skills and knowledge to understand specific needs or requirements that may require an inventive approach. Senior account managers can be primary points of contact for the clients they oversee.

Responsibilities:

• Service accounts, including account transactions such as quote and issue policies, ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs on a timely basis.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans as necessary.
• Insurance marketing and sales.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Claims support.
• Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to ensure items were received as ordered.
• Maintain accuracy of client data in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC)
• Document all activities in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC)
• Understand and utilize upload, download, and interface technology.
• Assist other departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies in their department for which we have a mutual client.
• Keeping Producers informed of all important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management.
• Keep current with industry trends including participation in educational seminars and classes for improvement of insurance/sales skills and license compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers.
• Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in these provisions.
• Complete other functions and assignments assigned including backup duties.

Requirements:

• Active Property & Casualty License Required.
• Strong organizational skills - the ability to discern priority and initiative.
• Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong people skills
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variables furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
• Know and apply principles of insurance to everyday situations.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum of4years of experience in commercial lines and/or industry.
• CPCU or special training course completion is a plus.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
