We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing specific client relationships within the technology and IT sectors to drive positive bookings results. You will work closely with our product teams to deliver customized market intelligence solutions that meet unique client needs, driving opportunities forward from discovery to closure.

This position can be located in an approved remote location in the United States with a preferred location of California (Bay Area) or Needham, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients in the IT and technology sectors across all IDC product lines.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of existing accounts to maintain and expand the current revenue base.
  • Understand client needs and challenges and match them with appropriate research solutions from IDC.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct client presentations, and negotiate contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and accurate forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Qualifications
  • 2 -6 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development --preferably in market research or IT services.
  • Bachelor degree
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, including enterprise technologies, software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.

The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $159,000 and $200,000and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
