Job summary

Squash On Fire in Washington, D.C. is hiring a full-time squash coach to lead private lessons, group clinics, and junior programs within a top-tier facility.

You will work with a diverse community, deliver sessions across skill levels, participate in school outreach and summer camps, and contribute to events that connect players and families.

Qualifications

• Meaningful experience coaching both juniors and adults across skill levels.

• Sound professional judgment — especially when working with youth.
• Willingness to complete background checks, youth protection training, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or you already have them).
• Existing U.S. work authorization is strongly preferred.

Squash On Fire has built something special in Washington, D.C. — and we’re looking for the right coach to be part of it.

Squash On Fire is one of the most exciting squash clubs in the country — an eight-court, purpose-built facility in the heart of Washington, D.C. where high performance and genuine community coexist. Since opening in 2017, we’ve built a nationally recognized program serving hundreds of junior and adult players, that generates over $2.1M in annual revenue and maintains court occupancy above 70% at peak. We’re still growing, though and we’re looking for a coach who wants to join our team.

The Role

You’ll join a strong coaching staff led by Director of Squash Ronny Vlassaks, delivering programs that range from elite junior development to beginner adult clinics — and everything in between. No two days look the same here.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a coach who genuinely loves the sport and loves developing people. You show up with energy, adapt your approach to each player and take pride in the relationships you build on and off the court.

You Bring
