About Us: We provide all-in-one digital marketing and recruiting solutions for commercial and residential landscape, lawn care, pool, and outdoor living industry businesses. More about this role

High-level responsibilities milestones include: You’ll be working on website designs for various clients, and you will be given space to learn and push your creativity. You will be tasked with jumping between different projects, clients, and goals—discovering new skills along the way. You will create a cohesive, powerful brand across multiple platforms and mediums.

Responsibilities
  • You will work on each project from strategy to delivery, enabling ownership, creative control, and a sense of accomplishment.
  • Plan website design strategy in close partnership with Project & SEO Managers.
    • Detail page designs; plan navigation/architecture; curate client-provided images; plan user experience; identify best ways to organize client’s services/products.
  • Design websites (usually on Squarespace) using industry-standard graphic design principles.
    • Push design concepts beyond expectations; combine platform features with customizations; use Adobe Suite and Canva to create backgrounds, images; edit videos for banners and other placements; pay attention to buttons, links, and the small details; deliver on-brand, emotion-provoking designs.
  • Support social media managers with social-first short-form videos unique to the client’s brand and messaging.
  • Update websites based on scope requirements, aligned with the overall theme.
  • This is not a client-facing role; you will work with internal project managers who liaise with clients on needs, feedback, and timelines. You should handle feedback gracefully and advocate for your designs while keeping a client-first focus.
  • Manage a busy, fast-paced deliverable schedule, delivering high-quality, on-scope creative, on time. Use Slack and Zoom to communicate with the team and Asana to manage projects and tasks, meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new things; dive into the industry to understand purchasing decisions and create creative that connects with the target persona.
  • Be incredibly detail-oriented; balance speed and quality to ensure effective results.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Experience designing websites on Squarespace (required) and Wix (nice to have); must know the Squarespace platform inside-out.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, and custom code features on Squarespace. Experience sourcing, understanding, and implementing code in a Squarespace environment.
  • Proactively researching and implementing design trends.
  • Track record of producing designs that follow basic design principles (white space, margins, font pairings, design grids, etc.).
  • Ability to scale different creative tasks and allocate time accordingly.
Measurement/Areas of success

Produce websites that are on time, beautiful, often cutting edge and emotion-provoking, on-brand, and high quality.
