Job summary

Ria Money Transfer seeks a SQL Server Database Developer to design, code, test, and optimize solutions for complex business problems. You will convert MS Access solutions to SQL, build SSIS packages and SSRS reports, and maintain stored procedures with a focus on reliability and speed.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS, plus a solid understanding of accounting and financial data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science; finance/accounting background preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS required.
• Strong knowledge of database design and multi-user environments.
• Familiarity with financial transactions and currency exchange is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert MS Access to SQL under periodic supervision; develop and modify SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and stored procedures with high complexity.
• Perform impact analysis before creating or modifying processes.
• Establish project due dates and consistently meet them.
• Conduct problem analysis and system design preparation for solutions.
• Analyze current workflows and address deficiencies through user discussions.
• Develop or assist in work plans and task sequencing for projects.
• Communicate effectively with all project members.
