Job summary

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA3 to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale SQL Server environments (on-premises and Azure). You will ensure performance, availability, security, and disaster recovery across multiple environments, collaborating with IT and security teams to uphold standards and best practices. This role requires hands‑on expertise with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and comprehensive HA/DR strategies, plus strong communication to translate technical concepts to stakeholders.

5 Key Skills:

• Deep SQL Server expertise (SSMS, T-SQL, indexes, query tuning, and deep internals)
• Azure SQL Database / Azure SQL Managed Instance / SQL Server on Azure VMs
• HA/DR design and implementation (Always On, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping, replication)
• Security & Compliance (RBAC, encryption at rest/in transit, Azure Key Vault, identity access via Azure AD)
• ETL/Integration experience (SSIS), automation scripting (T‑SQL, PowerShell), and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Redgate)
