Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced SQL Server DBA / Database Architect for our client, in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position requires strong Microsoft SQL Server database administration expertise, advanced SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) skills, and experience supporting enterprise database and reporting environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, database architecture, performance tuning, security, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and reporting solution design experience. Banking or financial services experience is a strong advantage.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 7+ years of recent hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience.
• Advanced SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience.
• Strong expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft PowerShell scripting experience.
• Experience with Oracle Database and/or MySQL.
• Banking, financial services, core banking, or enterprise data warehouse experience.
• Experience with ETL monitoring, capacity planning, and database change/release management.
• Experience mentoring database administrators or serving as a technical lead.
