Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage all aspects of physical database administration for SQL Server, including schema management, security, setup, upgrades, patches, backup and recovery, and capacity planning.

You will support application teams, troubleshoot performance, and tune databases across Production, Test, and Development environments within Microsoft ecosystems.

Qualificações

• Experience administering SQL Server databases across Production, Test, and Development environments.
• Implementing security protocols and user authentication for SQL Server databases.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning using modern appliances.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of physical database administration for SQL Server: schema management, security, setup, installations, upgrades, patches, backup and recovery, space management, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Support application teams and their projects to troubleshoot and performance tune databases.
• Support SQL Server databases in Production, Test and Development environments and within Microsoft ecosystem; manage SharePoint farm.
• Install, upgrade, configure Always On, test and deploy complex database software.
• Develop and implement database recovery plans and procedures.
• Analyze database performance and recommend tuning and application changes.
• Implement user authentication and enforce database security across systems.
• Review system designs and develop new database systems as needed.
• Modify database structures or deploy schema changes as requirements evolve.
• Script batch data loads and automate operational jobs.
• Work with Cohesity Backup Appliance and cloud governance tools.
