What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, install, configure, and maintain SQL Servers (default, named & clustered instances) from SQL Server 2012 to 2022
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues using Extended Events, DMVs, and SQL Profiler
- Collaborate with developers to create and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and ETL processes
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide support and training to end-users and maintain documentation for database systems and procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in SQL Server Administration
- Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and data privacy standards

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 5 years of SQL Server Administration experience
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar certification
- Experience with High Availability & Disaster Recovery technologies
