Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and data extracts.
• Query and analyze enterprise database data for business reporting.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports from multiple sources.
• Validate data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Review database structures and identify data sources for reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business users to understand data and reporting requirements.

Salary: $104,000 - 128,960 per year

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of hands-on SQL development experience, including advanced query development
• Experience with relational databases, database querying, and data extraction
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience analyzing large datasets and troubleshooting data or reporting issues
• Strong understanding of database structures, tables, relationships, and data models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Preferred technologies include SQL Server, Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric

The role is based in Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois, with a hybrid work arrangement. This is a 12-month contract scheduled for 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, with pay of $50–$62 per hour plus 1.5x overtime.
