Job Description

* Creates and maintains efficient and logical databases and interfaces to support the company's daily operations
* Effectively employs many different database design techniques established by IT management
* Designs and codes superior technical solutions
* Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions by monitoring and providing recommendations for process improvements on poor performing interfaces
* Consistently delivers high-quality software/services to clients
* Familiar with and follows the standard system development lifecycle and ensures others adherence to the standards
* Conducts technical design reviews, code reviews and provides peer sign of to ensure code standards are met and ensure design for maintainability and efficiency
* Trains other employees through both formal and informal training programs
* Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings
* Delivers informative, well-organized presentations
* Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solution with project management; communicates difficult / sensitive information tactfully
* Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships; manages client expectations effectively
* Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required Skills
* BS in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience
* At least 7+ years of professional experience
* Experience with AxisPoint CCMS and / or McKesson CareEnhance Review Manager Applications
* In depth SQL development experience in various SQL versions (2008 / 2008R2 / 2012)
* Experience in Transactional SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, SQL Reporting Service (SSRS) and SSIS package development
* Practical experience in managing MS SQL database security
* Experience in fine tuning SQL queries
* Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012
* Understands complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs
* Possesses demonstrated work experience with MS SQL Server relational database management system
* Understands the benefits of the carious programming languages
* Possesses significant knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures
* Understands the benefits of the carious design methodologies and object oriented environments
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
