Job Description

The Software Engineer designs, develops, and installs software solutions to expand information systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate operational feasibility through analysis, problem definition, requirements, and solution development.
• Document solutions with records, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code.
• Determine and design system specifications, standards, and programming for solution installation.
• Improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending policy or procedural changes.
• Gather information from vendors, recommend purchases, and test and approve software licenses.
• Stay updated on development tools, programming techniques, and equipment through continuous learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of operations information.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues to inform decisions.
• Complete related tasks to support engineering and organizational goals.
• Study information needs, confer with users, analyze system flow and data usage, and follow the software development lifecycle to develop solutions.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum of 3 years of related work experience required.

Tech requirements for Mid – Senior PHP Software Engineer:

• CS degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of PHP experience.
• Experience with Symfony 2 framework.
• Knowledge of datastores: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis is a plus.
