Job summary

GigSumo.com is seeking a Senior SQL DBA with 15+ years of experience to lead production SQL Server environments, including Always On, partitioning, compression, replication, and AWS RDS, across Linux and Windows platforms, with MySQL and Snowflake knowledge as supporting skills.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, own on-call responsibilities, drive performance tuning and security policy adherence, document procedures, and ensure high‑quality data services for complex

• Experience in client-facing roles globally.
• On-call support experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• At least 10+ years of SQL DBA experience covering implementation, production support and project work.
• At least 5+ years of exposure as L3/SME support role.
• In client facing role(s) globally for at least 5 years.
• On call support for at least 5 years.
• Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work.

• Hands-on experience on mirroring, replication and Always ON
• Must have automation experience. Good knowledge of scripting.
