We are seeking aSenior SQL Database Administrator (DBA)to support theNavy’s Records Management mission, delivering secure, scalable, and highly resilient database solutions that enable critical information management across the enterprise.
In this role, you will apply extensivesubject‑matterexpertiseinMicrosoft SQL Server,large‑scaledata management, and secure database administration to design,optimize, and modernize enterprise data environments. You will work within Agile project structures—partnering closely with Program Managers, developers, and Navy stakeholders—to support database projects, manage performance baselines, ensure data accuracy, and implement secure access practices across massive datasets.
You understand that database administrators are central to mission continuity—maintainingavailability, performance, security, and recovery posture while supporting ongoing modernization initiatives. You will analyze system requirements, architect solutions, coordinate database migrations, and help the Navyestablishdurable, efficient, and compliant data management capabilities.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
